- The smock at waist is curved in different shapes, inspired by the sculptural theme in Sonja Ferlov Manconba’s art, which is the muse of the collection “The Studio Visit”, by HOFMANN COPENHAGEN.

- Body is gathered through the smocked neck, creating an airy look.

- Raglan sleeves.

- Comfortable lightweight fabric, which is woven like embroideries with a 3D look. The weave has a flat base and fraying threads along the pattern. The artwork is developed by HOFMANN COPENHAGEN and play along with the playful inspiration of the collection “The Studio Visit”.

- Color is black, but still shows a contrast with the jacquard weave.

- Body is fully lined, except sleeves which are transparent.

Renowned for her feminist conviction and progressive imagination, Sonja Ferlov Manconba was a Danish-born Parisian sculptor who plucked inspiration from all facets of society. While her sculptures exist as tactile objects, the starting point of her work was always from within. As an intuitive artist, Sonja often referred to her sculptures as “creatures”, waiting for them to speak to her before she could finish. With this surrealist mentality, she created more than just art, but physical manifestations of her mind and beliefs.
